International Students Working while training

Hi all,

First post here. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with international students working while doing modular courses? I understand you can work 20 hours per week part time while studying but my question really relates to the working full time in scheduled summer breaks part of a study visa. Basically my plan is this; Do full time training from September to April then use my job fighting wildfire in the summer to fund my training. Has anyone come across students doing this before?

I know it may be a fairly specialised question but figured it's worth asking!
