theres a question in the ATPL aerocourse book that I would sure like some opinions on .... it reads
Consider an airport with a Class C control zone . What would the status of the airport and its airspace classification when the tower is not operating ?
a. Controlled airport class E airspace
b.Controlled airport class D airspace
c. uncontrolled airport class E airspace
d. uncontrolled airport class D airspace
their answer is C
the problem I have with their answer is in RAC 2.8.3 ... it does say that the airspace does in fact become class E .... however RAC 2.8.5 does go on to say that E is controlled airspace but does not meet the requirements of ABCD
any input would be appreciated

Uncontrolled airport in class E controlled airspace.
Uncontrolled airport in class E controlled airspace.
DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.
Re: Class C CZ after hours
Yes, their answer is correct. The Class C control zone (tower airspace) become Class E controlled airspace, although the airport itself is uncontrolled when the tower closes. Even though the airport itself is uncontrolled, you have to adhere to controlled airspace wx minima.
