Has anyone done this kind of training path?
I mean you do all your training such as CPL, MIFR, ATPL, etc. in the states then convert to the Canadian licenses/ratings.
Perhaps some folks can provide some sort of feedback (dos/don'ts, why/Why not, cost benefit analysis, etc.).
I can work/study/live in the states without any restriction so none of those visa/work permit issues applicable to me.
Thank you in advance.

Re: FAA -> TC
I read about doing my training in the US, but having no visa / accomodation made it more expensive.
Many flight school in the U.S. are cheaper than Canada, so if you’re able to save on these fees by staying at your Parents/relatives for cheap, than stay in the U.S.
Weather wise, it’s difficult for a modular student to finish in less than 16 months in eastern Canada... I spoke to many past students in Florida where it took them 12 months to complete everything.
