Flight Training in Kirkland Lake?
Hi, a friend of mine just got a job as a firefighter in Kirkland Lake. He'd like to get a pilot's license once he's settled in.
Is there a flight school anywhere near KL; or an independent instructor?
If not, is there one in Earlton? No schools are showing up on Foreflight, so I wondered if anyone has any local information.
Thanks,
Dave

Just for information, unless your friend wants to buy his own airplane - or a share in one - an independent instructor won’t do. He’ll need a TC approved Flight Training Unit for a PPL.
DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.

He'd like to buy a 150 or something similar -- cheaper that way, and you learn more.

That’s a great plan.

Sadly Earlton is you friend's nearest bet.
