Question about Aviation Medical
Hello there and greetings from Hong Kong
I have just finished the medical exam in Hong Kong about a month ago and I haven't heard from Transport Canada.
So does anyone know how long does it take to process the medical certificate?
And also after it is issued, would it be sent to my home in a paper form or to my email in a digital one?
Thanks all!

Re: Question about Aviation Medical
Don't expect any thing for a while. TC offices are very backed up and have a very long processing time now.
Re: Question about Aviation Medical
What region did you send it to?
I would email the region and ask for an electronic copy to be sent to you. https://tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/civil- ... ts-offices
Like said above. They are very backed up. I'm thinking 3-6 months.

Re: Question about Aviation Medical
I had my initial done in January of 2020, and I got my sticker in the mail in May. Expect it to take some time.

And that was before they were shutdown for Covid. Delays are much longer now.I had my initial done in January of 2020, and I got my sticker in the mail in May. Expect it to take some time.
Re: Question about Aviation Medical
For anyone keeping track of medical processing time: I heard from a Category 3 applicant (uncomplicated) in Ontario region whose exam was on 9 Feb and whose certificate arrived today, March 12. Five weeks isn’t too bad.
DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.
