“Full landing” vs “touch and go”?

Post by ellinas »

Hi , trying to find out when transport Canada says you have to do a full landing. Does this mean landing and coming around again to takeoff, stop and go , touch and go.
Curious and thanks

If YYZ would allow it, (highly doubtful), ask for 23 and you could easily do 5 or more touch and goes in one go.

It’s not really something Transport Canada requires. It depends on what you want to do after touch down.

Full landing is when you leave the runway. Usually once you are finished flying.

Stop and go means you come to a complete stop on the runway before turning of the carb heat and adding full power to take off.

Touch and go means once you touch down, you continue rolling, bring the flaps up, turn off the carb heat and apply full power to take off.

I do that at YHM.

To the OP: it’s actually called a “full stop landing” which makes the meaning clearer.
