Logistically, the easiest way to migrate the AC pilots from ACPA to ALPA representation is to have ACPA merge with ALPA. This is the method used several times by ALPA. It requires both associations to vote in favour.

It sounds to me like there needs to be a serious discussion amongst the AC pilots about this option to determine what the merits or drawbacks might be, and then to determine what the wishes of the majority are, and to direct the elected representatives to act on these wishes if they involve a merger with ALPA.

I sincerely hope that the elected representatives are not acting as a barrier to this debate. ACPA was created as a 'member driven' organization. So it is the wishes of the membership that matter, not the other way around.
