703 to AC?
G'day! I'm a mid 30s guy currently on a multi-turbine for a 703 outfit in western Canada. Aviation is my second career. I am contemplating the move to Jazz but want to know what my chances are of getting an interview at AC when I am in a position to apply with decent MPIC. I have two degrees under my belt if that counts for anything. My current company is good and I am in no rush to get out of here. Any tips ya'll would have would be appreciated.
Re: 703 to AC?
Probably about a %5 chance. Good luck.
If I were you I'd bite the bullet and go to Jazz sooner than later. Or move onto a 705 machine in your company if they have them.

Re: 703 to AC?
I’ll pipe in. I came from 703 flying MEDEVAC to AC. I have an aviation diploma. Flew bush 705 for about 1000hrs. Interviewed Oct. and hired in March. I knew my chances we low but I was happy with where I was and in no particular rush. I feel I have been a bit of an anomaly. Knew friends in the inside but no “higher ups.” Just looking at the new hire bios very few, 10-15%, are not from an express carrier lately. Most coming from OTS are either WestJet/Encore or military.

I had 90 percent Caravan and C206 Time, (I think I had about 300 hours on a 200. I was offered the job.
In my Interview was a gal who used to fly in the same part of the world that I did and I believe she had mostly Caravan time if not all.

Well if we are counting 703-705-AC then yes I came from 703 to AC.

Yah you're right.
I think a few Thunder Air guys came over in the last year. That's about all the 703 I've heard of.

Thunder Air’s last chief pilot was in the May groundschool.
