The fact of the matter is we are all speculating and have opinions. But that’s all they are, opinions. Everybody has one and the range can obviously be significant from one person to the next. Nobody knows how long this will last and what the industry will look like in the next few months as none of us have a crystal ball. If you do however, perhaps you could fill me in on which stocks will take the biggest jump this coming week?

Maybe we will see things improving drastically sooner than later. Who knows?!

We can always hope but we should also be prepared for different times ahead.

Profit share came in. Check your April stub. That's good news.

I see some overseas flights are being added and frequencies increasing for May on the most recent route update. That's good news.

This is Avcanada- positive thinking and commentary isn’t one of the stellar attributes usually noted here.

That’s good I suppose, depending on how you view it. If it’s bad news, better off delaying the bad news but of course the uncertainty can weigh heavily on people.

Delaying the bid again is not a good sign. Not that the sky is falling but the revisions are not good.

Does anyone know or heard if AC would accept a stimulus package. I have heard that they are coming very soon for the airlines but I know there were strings attached for the US airlines for example. I am assuming this could change the outlook of the bid and mitigate layoffs. Any thoughts?

IMHO the feds owe Air Canada. Either it be in money, regulation, or other favor they owe them. AC kept essential domestic service at a clear financial loss with horrible loads. No way they were making money when 30 people are on board a 320
CR knows that and will play his cards accordingly in this very dynamic situation

Thirty??!! That was a month ago. Try seven for the flight I was on. Unless she’s all drugs below deck I would think AC is running at a tremendous loss.

Thanks mba
We do need some positives.
Hopefully it means they have info and it’s not just a shot in the dark, I doubt it would be.
