Training

Post by Captain S itmagnet »

As I understand it, in early April Air Canada initiated a policy where flight crew were not to travel to CAE YYZ for recurrent training unless they were YYZ based. A few days later Jazz followed suit. Has that policy been rescinded or modified recently?
In addition, anyone with qualification at either carrier about to lapse received extension as long as their employer made the request to Transport Canada.
Is that still current information?
Thanks

Is keeping current becoming a problem?

I heard they've reverted from their company currency standards to the basic 705 standards for the time being.
