Got the Email!

Post by Johnny Reb »

I just got a call from Jazz yesterday offering me a course date at the end of August, then today I got an email from Air Canada offering me an interview. Are there any issues here? As I am not actually employed by Jazz yet, can I take the interview?

Any help is sincerely appreciated and if anyone has any of the interview material that has disappeared you can feel free to PM me.

Thanks

You can still do the AC interview, I just wouldn't tell Jazz that. Just curious what kind of experience you have if you care to mention.

Im sure there's a lot of people in this country with over 4000hrs who would be perfectly happy flying a dash 8 or working for Jazz. For many, it's not about what they are flying, but lifestyle. I'm sure you'll figure this out eventually.

4000 hours means you're over qualified for the airbus ... (AC only wants 1500 hours and a lot of circuit time) ... but you're right in there for the Dash ...

You can go for the interview, but if you accept Jazz and have a number at Jazz when AC calls back... you're pooched and won't be able to accept an AC position. This is happening all the time with people stating at Jazz, and getting an AC interview call, based on an old resume, so if you're a risk taker... go for AC! Just depends where you want to be, although it would be better if the whole AC/Jazz company hiring was a little more streamlined.
