Maybe it hasn't been updated but it does specify standby for executive and for enconomy. C2/J09 is standby for executive so I'd guess it falls under those baggage allowances, which is 3 @ 70.FLCHG wrote:Thanks for the info..... Note...The ETS, under policy was updated in 2010 . There is no mention of the new C2/J09 baggage allowance. Only the regulations regarding C1's baggage allownce of 3 bags / 70lbs /bag.
On the Air Canada web site J passengers are permitted 2 bags at 70 lbs /bag.
Are there any agents in the know if the 3 bag / 70lbs policy is still in effect for the C2/J09.
Thanks

Re: Changes to Pass Travel
Please explain...If you book a flight with one of your C2/J09 free upgrade passes and you do not get into J does that constitute the loss of one of your 3 passes for that year????
Re: Changes to Pass Travel
I was just wondering how the travel passes work for family members of employees. Can passes be used for any family member? Or are there rules as to the # of family members who can travel etc? Ie if an AC Employee wanted to take his/her family on a vacation, would it be a problem?
Re: Changes to Pass Travel
Re number of bags permitted ... Thanks Whiteguy for the info
FYI Checked in on line with a C2/09 pass and I was allowed 3 checked bags at 70 lbs per bag.

Re: Changes to Pass Travel
Hi all,
I wanted to know how many confirmed passes if any do AC employees get per year? Also is it different if you are full time or part time and do confirmed passes also extend to family members?
Thanks

On my home computer the "Go AC Family" link on the travel site is a dead link. I select it and nothing happens. Anybody else getting that?
Re: Changes to Pass Travel
It works fine on my computer using Firefox. The program has recently changed and my computer shows a fancy new page. I'm not sure when the change was made. Maybe it hasn't got as far as you yet.mulligan wrote:On my home computer the "Go AC Family" link on the travel site is a dead link. I select it and nothing happens. Anybody else getting that?
Re: Changes to Pass Travel
I generally prefer Firefox 20 and avoid Internet Explorer 10. Both browsers will not open the Go AC tab link. Downloaded Google Chrome and it opens the link.mulligan wrote:On my home computer the "Go AC Family" link on the travel site is a dead link. I select it and nothing happens. Is a pass used on each leg of a trip or does a flight outbound and return only burn one pass?

Re: Changes to Pass Travel
Wow that is quite good. You could tour the world for a month and only use one pass.
