What, WJ doesn't put you up in a hotel for training?

Better talk to ALPA about that!Black_Tusk wrote:What, WJ doesn't put you up in a hotel for training?

Hi
Anyone based outside YYC gets put up in a suite with per-diem along with immediate free travel. This changed when we went to bases a few years ago.
Cheers

FYI, WJ/WJE students are put in accommodation and paid a per diem during training.CD1 wrote:New hires!

Not if you are based in Calgary as stated. At $125/week this is a pretty good deal for someone that needs to get there for training quickly and doesn't have time to sort out their housing in Calgary before the commencement of groundschool. Then there's the issue of moving your family lock stock and then realizing this job isn't for me.
