Garmin 296 w/Atlantic (Europe & Africa) database for sale

Post by TeePeeCreeper »

Hello to all,

I've recently come back to Canada after a long ''stint'' in the dark continent, and no-longer have any use for my 296. She has served me very well, and got me out of a few tight-spots that I should never have gotten into in the first place!
The unit is in ''mint'' condition although the yoke-mount which is included does have a few small/light scratches on it.
VIP currently sells the 296 for $1095 (after rebate) and I'm looking for $700 shipping included (within Canada) for mine. Cost to up load Americas data base is about $150 and is bought directly from Garmin.

Unit comes with:
Atlantic (Europe &Africa) database
Adjustable yoke mount
Automotive mount
Cigarette-lighter adapter
AC power adapter
USB-PC interface cable
Low-profile remote GPS antenna
Carrying case

PM me for more details!

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Wow, I know European weather can be pretty depressing, but that is the first time I've heard anybody call it the "Dark Continent."
