R1 Airlines update?
Hey all. Just noticed the R1 website is updated after the shut down, does anyone know what the scoop is? Planning to start up again?

Haven't seen an R1 painted machine move since the shutdown, there seems to be the odd Dash or RJ that gets pushed in or out of the hangar from time to time.

With a Chinese take over of AvMax I would highly doubt you see R1 move again. I could be wrong but R1 was never a money making venture for Avmax.

I herd that their is a Rumor is Circling that Sunward Airlines will be starting up shortly with the ex Cdn North Bosses running the place. Im really excited to see this, maybe will see employees get there jobs back soon

Sunward is a corporation existing under the laws of the People’s Republic of China and is listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code: 002097).

Sunward Bought the airline from the old owner a few years ago, aparently they now want to take control of the airline for themselves

My understanding was that Sunward only had an 18% stake in R1 and the remainder still owned by JB?
