government does not care about helping, government cares about running the country.

and their next votes to stay in power.

so, the aid will go to to the former crown corporation. for the only reason to keep air transport alive for the purpose of keeping the country going.

the rest, well, too bad, so sad, yer gonna die.

happened post 9/11. lots of operations disappeared. one stayed alive.

thats just the way it is.

Yah, lets get that conservative party back in power, you know, the ones that took away the right to strike for Air Canada pilots, remember them ????

I’ll take them any day over the clown show running the circus right now. You won’t have to worry about striking if you don’t have a job.

The airlines would have a better chance of getting aid from Turdo if they registered themselves as a charity

Bingo.

Libs are off the deep end. Pretty much every political party except the Cons are pandering to far left special interests and feelings of an uninformed electorate at this point. Our democracy has been tossed aside, even as a minority the Liberals are ruling by decree.

Only feeling I have is that we're fucked under this (lack of) leadership.

Or what’s worse, a liberal government that forced a takeover of another failing airline!

One of O’tooles platforms points is “ I will open airline and wireless services to foreign competition.”

If he gets in you might not have a job either...just for a different reason.
