CANZUK A Pilots Perspective
Canada Australia New Zealand UK
For it or against it?
If you had the opportunity to live and work in one of these countries as a pilot unrestricted, would you? And visa versa for them to come here and do the same?

Re: CANZUK A Pilots Perspective
I'm for it. I'd even go further and say Canada and the UK should reunite and become one country. It would have a population of over 100 million, plenty of resources and the economic ability to use them. It would probably have the 4th or 3rd largest economy in the world.
There would also be one foot in North America and one in Western Europe. We'd have a good chance in both the summer and winter Olympics It actually makes perfect sense.

I don't want to import all the British problems here. We have enough of our own that we can't seem to deal with.
Plus they would think they were our colonial overlords again.
No thanks.
Special relationship and status between countries, sure. But Canada mostly for Canadians.

I'm British Canadian and I promise you I wouldn't see myself as your overlord

Again? Have you lived under colonial overlords in the past?Plus they would think they were our colonial overlords again.
Re: CANZUK A Pilots Perspective
I grew up with a majority of my area 1st or 2nd generation Brits. The one guy posting here would be the minority.... most would be unbearable. And I am 3rd gen myself. Somehow people used to get on their high horses if they were Brits, and I saw it in Scots too. In the UK they were nobodies, or to be a bit more charitable, "unimportant". The Brits love sending their problem cases to the colonies. There are already too many people there.
