Aspire Airlines?

Post by YYJ_Jeff »

Hey guys,

I noticed today that a former colleague's LinkedIn profile was updated to say they work for "Aspire Airlines". It seems that Aspire is some new charter airline based out of YYC but when I googled I could not find anything on them. Does anyone know anything about them?

So... apparently Aspire Airlines has shut down? What happened??? They seemed to have a very robust management team with a lot of former Canadian North people.

Canadian North management team?? Oxymoron. That is probably why they shut down. Anything but robust.

Actually, I know a lot of the guys that went to start-up Aspire. Some really accomplished folks, the Hankirks apparently were involved, some of the guys from maintenance, regulatory affairs. I am just curious to find out what happened, they seemed to have bog ambitious plans.

Like I said, and was mentioned above, what accomplishments besides burning through money? There is a reason they are no longer with Canadian North/Bradley Air Services.
