Can't wait for someone to tell us how much better off we are sending grads to the north for 3 years at 1/10th their payRegionalPilot wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 11:41 am https://news.erau.edu/headlines/frontie ... 1ynzoT4XbU

They're flowing so fast that it's quicker to deplane on the grass at the end of the runway.

Or how they should be opening up their borders to Canadian pilots, while we hated Canadian companies hiring TFWs.

One thing to open your borders to pilots when they're in short supply, another thing to open your country to foreign pilots when they are simply less expensive.Tbayer2021 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 4:26 pmnewlygrounded wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 3:27 pmCan't wait for someone to tell us how much better off we are sending grads to the north for 3 years at 1/10th their payRegionalPilot wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 11:41 am https://news.erau.edu/headlines/frontie ... 1ynzoT4XbU

Wasn’t Sunwing putting college grads into the 737 a few years back? Don’t see why this is big news?

The 220 hour wonders that were put in the right seat might not have had much experience, but they are all very attractive. That definitely makes up for it.Yycjetdriver wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 7:02 am Wasn’t Sunwing putting college grads into the 737 a few years back? Don’t see why this is big news?

This sounds like it won’t circumvent the 1500 hr rule. Just takes flight instructors from there once they make the 1500.

They were never really in short supply, they just couldn't train the ones they had fast enough. They had no problem turning plenty of people away. You showing up with all sorts of jet time and multiple type ratings wouldn't matter in terms of training. You would still go through the same process as the pimpled face 25 year old coming off an RJ.CL-Skadoo! wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 6:18 amOne thing to open your borders to pilots when they're in short supply, another thing to open your country to foreign pilots when they are simply less expensive.Tbayer2021 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 4:26 pmnewlygrounded wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 3:27 pm

But keeping spinning it any way you'd like to justify your hypocrisy.
