Schedule for Captains?

Post by rtpilot »

Just wondering if any JetsGo Pilots can tell me what the schedules are like, in regards to time off, reserve and drafting for the F-100s and Mds?

Thanks in advance. :)

Are the days off scattered, one here and there or are they structured in a manner in which one may be able to have a few in a row as I will be commuting. Cheers

You bid for them.
If your senior it won't be a problem if junior and commuting watch out.
Infact they love commuters so much I guarantee you will have blank days between work days so going home is not worth it.
If you were from YYZ or especially from YUL those blank and reserve would be around your GDO's
They do this on purpose to commuters to keep you where you are useful and home is not what they like.
cheers

Thanks for the replies! I suspected it would be so. I take it that you are an employee of JetsGo? If so how do you like/dislike it? Have to make a decision today. Cheers

Well it is a job that is for sure.
It has it's good and bad like everywhere else.
The growing pains have been constant simply because the expansion has been on going.
Hopefully preferenical bidding will solve some of the issues we have. It will be good for seniors bad for juniors. If you are a captain senority will not be a problem for you. You will step infront of at least 25% of the pilots on the senority list.
Makes for a friendly atmosphere in the office.
