When they offer good salaries to people without a type rating but significant industry experience that is when the bar will have been raised. There is just something wrong with Air Canada's management receiving a 1500% raise in the last ten years when the pilots haven't even had a cost of living increase during the same period. Starting wage is still $38K/year.
