The arrival and departure into YMM do not exit class E or enter glass G airspace. We are talking to ATC the entire time and on radar the entire time. If on an approach into an aerodrome that is in class G airspace you will always get the clearance "you are cleared out of controlled airspace via..." that is your cue that you should be brodcasting on 126.7, however it is not the case in CYMM and not required. ATC will advise the location of all VFR aircraft on radar, and as I have seen in many cases, restricts our altitude or assigns a turn to avoid the VFR. Consider that above places like Calgary or Hamilton or Winnipeg are also class E below 12500ASL to the top of the control zone, it is the exact same type of airspace. You wouldn't be on 126.7 while IFR over those airports...
