I'm guessing this is a different flight department from Jetport in Hamilton.

Unlike Illya I care about this.

The demise of a long standing corporate flight department is never a good thing. I hope the rumour is false, but if it is true I hope all the displaced flight department personnel can find new good jobs soon.

Sorry, that link was from a business news article that I guess doesn't work separately. This one goes direct to the download page for the PDF report.

https://www.policyalternatives.ca/publi ... h.5NzHUWzj

It's a report on what Tim Horton's franchise owners and employees can expect from the Brazillian investment firm that just bought them. The flight department is only the beginning I'm afraid.

I initially spelled it "brazillion" because I was thinking about that old George W. Bush joke when I wrote it.

General public doesn't care one bit, they probably believe the increases in a small coffee " one and one" and their dutchie over the years Is due to their (tim's executives)running around with the rich and famous to exotic places in the fleet of private jets - to coin the socialists NDP slogans. Corporate aviation is probably the most misunderstood and maligned sector.

Corporate aircraft are not the culture of the new entity. Yes, their G100 will be sold, no, they are not part of Jetport. At least one of the pilots already has a position.
