Logbook App

Post by tallyho »

Hi everyone

I'm looking for an app to keep track of my daily flight times until my annual paper logbook update. Has anyone found anything particularly easy, useful and good? Free is good but wouldn't mind a few bucks if it's worth it.

Thanks

I'm sure there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, but...

LogTen Pro X. Best logbook software available for Mac and iOS. Sure you have to pay for the download, and then a small annual subscription fee, but it is a beautiful piece of software and highly functional.

I highly suggest Safelog. It is far superior to Logbook Pro.

I have logbook pro and am extremely dissatisfied with it.

I would not recommend it at all

Ditto. Start a spreadsheet. It'll have all the features you want, and none of the wasted space you don't. Expandable later on if you want to.

I'm cheap and I'm far from being able to spend another +100$/year on a novelty item so I use Zululog as a backup to my paper logbook. Their free version has unlimited entries and is more than enough for what I need.

MCCPilotLog. Free, 100$ lifetime for sync. Works on every and all devices. Quite handy if you don't have a Mac/iPad/iPhone.
