If you watch the video you'll see why! But then you'd have nothing to complain about would you?

Title was just a play on words by me. Oh well, I guess there is a reason why I am a pilot and not a poet.

Here is another one worth a watch Mr. Heliian, once again with no description. Don't worry, you'll watch it.

Why would one buy a watch from this ad?
Basically insults all Airline pilots.
Yes we monitor computers and are not "real" pilots.
Whatever....
Ps. I own a Breitling Aerospace Evo as a gift to myself.
Dropped it in the security line up from about 3 feet.
I gasped in horror and thought it should be alright.
Well the big hand fell off and the impact damged the digital portion. Worse than I could imagine.
It cost me 800 dollars to fix.
These companies advertise their watches going to extreme depths and great altitudes etc..
Not worth it, went to my old watch!'

Perhaps these watches are for big ego pilots who want to show off and are willing to pay 800 dollars to repair them. Personally, I get the cheapest model that shows two times, so I can see Zulu as well as local. About 50 bucks.

Mind you, some of these new ones such as Garmin and Apple might interest me.

You may have been the victim of a counterfeit. I don't know anything about these watches particularly, but I have researched watches and counterfeit manufacturers, and these Chinese reproductions are showing up everywhere. They look so realistic the counterfeiters are getting away with selling them for the same price as the real thing! The difference in quality usually shows up when they prove to be more easily damaged than seems reasonable. There is no reason a quartz watch should cost as much as those Breitlings, considering you can get a very, very nice mechanical watch for the same price with similar complications; and there is no way even a $20 quartz watch should fail to survive a three-foot drop. If you bought it over the internet there is a very real possibility that it was a fake. I can't afford a luxury watch but if I ever decided I wanted one, I would buy it in person from a reputable dealer. It's the only way to get a real one nowadays.

Yes to all comments!!
Got divorced and became Captain at Major Canadian airline in same year.
Judgement a bit clouded. Bought at a Jewerly store and have all paperwork.
The airplane has a time keeping device that is probably worth more than a car.
Basically do not fall for material items!
Big watch and small you know what....lol.

I don't like to click on blind links with no description either. Last time I did that it was 2 men having really loud sex and was meant as a joke, but pretty sure if I were a school teacher it would mean being fired and charged...

Putting a description doesn't mean it relates to the content does it? Just don't click on it and leave the poor guy alone. It was just a joke for God's sake!
