William Walter Bigoray - RCAF - WW2
I am looking for photographs or local information about William Walter Bigoray who served with the RCAF during WW2. He was originally from Redwater and was KIA on April 28, 1944. I have compiled considerable information from standard military websites / directories but I have not found photos of Bigoray. Can anyone help me out?

Re: William Walter Bigoray - RCAF - WW2
G'day
Not too sure what type of background gen you have on this man. Here are a few things about him. Bigoray was a labourer prior to enlisting in the Royal Canadian Air Force at Edmonton, Alberta on the 15th of March, 1941. He graduated from No. 2 Wireless School at Calgary, Alberta on the 8th of November, 1941. Bigoray received his Wireless Operator/Air Gunner wings (W.A.G.) on the 9th of December, 1941 while at No. 8 Bombing & Gunnery School, Lethbridge, Alberta.
He was posted to the R.A.F.'s No. 1474 (Special Duties) Flight. This unit was also known as No. 1474 Wireless Interception Flight. It was formed at R.A.F. Station Stradishall, Suffolk on the 4th of July, 1942 from 'B' and 'C' Flights of No. 109 (B) Squadron also based there. The unit was part of No. 3 Group of R.A.F. Bomber Command. It relocated to R.A.F. Station Gransden Lodge, Bedfordshire on the 1st of December, 1942. No. 1474 (SD) Flight was equipped with the Vickers Wellington Mk. Ic which was fitted with electronic equipment to detect the wavelength of German radar units.
Do you have information on him being awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal?
Cheers...Chris
