LAS losing subsidies
I was at an investors meeting last week and learned London Air's parent company will stop providing subsidies in the 3rd quarter. Can this company remain viable without the operating capital since much of their work is bid at cost? They also reported the company may be back up for sale.

I've noticed a couple of their birds have been for sale for a long time.

If not, orca Is ready to step in with their 1972 Lear 35. They offer granola bars to the crews so no need for perdiems

It will be Anderson and Omega the survivors again. Same old YVR, not a strong charter market.

Interesting theory, however LAS is 100% privately owned. There are no investor meetings. The aircraft that are for sale are in keeping with business model.
Are we there yet?
Re: LAS losing subsidies
London Air may not have investment meetings, but some stakeholder outfits definitely do.

No, but the box store does! Who would want to invest in a charter operator.U/S wrote:Interesting theory, however LAS is 100% privately owned. There are no investor meetings. The aircraft that are for sale are in keeping with business model.
