seeking fbo at CYQB
Can anyone suggest an FBO for an overnight stop and 100LL at CYQB?

Extremely expensive last I heard, as I'm sure you're well aware. Sorry not much help...photofly wrote:Can anyone suggest an FBO for an overnight stop and 100LL at CYQB?

I used to go avjet when I was flying GA and the kingair. http://avjet.ca/fbo/fbo-quebec-cyqb/
The fbo is nice and service is good.

I land at CNV9 when visiting Quebec City, much cheaper fuel and parking fee and no landing fee. Can often get a ride or borrow a car.
Fuel 1.82 at Neuville
Parking fee $15
Fuel 2.26 at CYQB
Landing fee 21.75
Parking fee $60-80 depending where you park and if you buy gas. 140L minimum.

gwagen's prices are right in line with what I paid the last time I parked at Avjet in Quebec City. They rolled out the red carpet and treated us like a jet. Helped bring in our bags, called a taxi before we got into the FBO. Had the plane fueled and ready for when we left two days later. Don't remember fuel being any more that you'd pay for full service anywhere else. Not sure what a taxi would cost from Neuville but it's around $35 from the YQB to the Fairmont.

In the end we didn't stay overnight. The Avjet service was first rate, and there was no ramp fee. I was happy to pay extra for the fuel because of the great service.
