Post by Bushman1515 »

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

I get bitter when companies post jobs that I am not qualified for. Does this bother anyone else?

Ha, if you don't like the job ads then you definitely won't like flying there.

It says they started with aeroplanes with 2 motors, in a 5000 square foot hangar, and now they're big and awesome, and have an 88 000 square foot hangar. They used to be called something different and changed their name. What more do you want to know?

Lol well seeing as how aviation is ruled by the English language no it doesn’t bother me to see the English only ads...Maybe if I was looking on a French website for a job in France I would expect it, but we are still in Canada and no reason we need to have French only ads. Just my two cents not like it’s worth crap

Chill out guys. I am an English speaking (by birth) quebecer, however I am fully fluent in french more by circumstance and necessity. Chances are that you would not want the job anyway since, I guess, most of the other employees do their business in french. (except on atc outside of quebec, of course)

It is what it is................

Fair, no. Realistic, well...I would have to say yes, even if I don't agree with it.

That about sums it up. Anyone who writes something in only one language complaining about people who write things in only one language needs to do some soul searching and mature a bit.

Very interesting... As a Canadian you may want to consider the fact that we are a bilingual country...

I’ve always been a believer in putting myself in someone else’s shoes....

TPC (Keeps reading those pesky English language ads...)
