Federal government looking for ways to improve regulation in transport

Post by xysn »

The Government of Canada is inviting comments from stakeholder groups on the 3-year targeted regulatory review process, beginning with the examination of regulatory requirements and practices in 3 key sectors:

agri-food and aquaculture
health/bio-sciences
transportation and infrastructure

Targeted regulatory reviews, as announced in Budget 2018, will identify bottlenecks and other areas of regulation that can be improved. The reviews will also explore ways to make regulations more agile, transparent and responsive so that businesses can grow, resulting in benefits for all Canadians. Stakeholder input is instrumental in providing recommendations that can help improve regulations in the first 3 key sectors.
Send an email to regulatoryreviews-examensreglementaires@tbs-sct.gc.ca with your ideas or comments to make your voice heard.

I fixed your title for you:

Federal government looking for ways to diminish regulation in transport

Such a weird thing for the feds to come out with when King Trudeau the Second, all hail, made the news about attempting to further deregulate the industry.
