Looking at refractive lens surgery. Heard about issues with light halo when driving at night. Anyone have issues with night flying?

Got the operation done in both eyes because of cataracts. Not the same perhaps as your situation.
The big takaway is to NOT get a multifocal lens implant because that will invalidate night flying privileges.
Apparently multifocals cause all kinds of glare related issues at night.
So get monofocal implants. You will see great, but you will need 10 dollar drugstore reading glasses. No big deal. You will probably be able to read a newspaper, but may have some trouble reading fine print. Drugstore glasses fix that.
FAA and TC both say the same thing. Got both medicals, no problem
