Hi, Has anyone been out to Gimli recently? Was thinking about flying out there this weekend but someone posted that the runway and taxiways were in just brutal condition. But that was two years ago.

Lots of patches in the pavement, but nothing that would prevent safe operations. It is being used daily.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:

Oh yeah. The racetrack is still there as well, so plenty of landing options.
