Advice and info needed

Hello

I am looking for some general info. I am a 850 hour helicopter pilot that has been out of the industry for just over a year. I am thinking about getting back into aviation, but going the fixed wing route instead

I have a few questions.

When you are starting out, what is your schedule like? Looking for all kinds of feedback including regionals.

Does it matter where you live? Are most low time jobs were you return home every night or do I have to live in a certain area?
