Looking for some information Baie Comeau

Hey Folks,

I'm looking for some information about the Baie Comeau airport. Most specifically if there's hangar space there. We're headed up next weekend with the Twin Otter, and I'm trying to do some planning. I'm not looking to get into the hangar if I don't have to, but if shyte weather pops up- or my machine goes mechanical, I'd like to know what I'd be working with. I'm assuming there's an FBO of some description?

Gorgeous part of the country, you'll need to be fluent in French.

I haven't been through in a while but it's pretty sparse.

They do have some services but you should call ahead.

Summer is tourist season, busy.

The people I met were lovely but I speak French.

Been there, don't know if there's any hangar spare hangar space. Google Avjet Baie Comeau and you'll find contact information. They do have some English speakers working there. They handle a Jazz Dash 8 daily so they have Jet A, Type 1 and 4 (hopefully you wouldn't need that this time of year...), and everything else you would expect Jazz to need.

There might be more resources in Sept-Iles CYZV (if it is on your path). Hangars, mechanics, parts, etc...

Thanks folks. Luckily for me I'm bilingual so communication isn't going to be an issue
Sept-Isles is unfortunately past where we need to be. We'll be doing some local work in the Baie Comeau area. If the weather turns to crap though and I need to get the plane in a barn, we'll keep that in mind.
