Today 2 Canadian C-130 birds were doing runs up an down highway 1 between Bow Valley and Banff (at least) relatively low level; 3-5000 feet AGL. At least one had the back door open. Anyone have ideas? Didn’t see any news articles so maybe it was training...

Saw them today as well, around 14:00 PST just south of Revelstoke, and am also curious!

They landed up in Edmonchuk around 5:30pm-ish. Looked pretty cool. Probably doing mountain training.
