Air Canada rebranding MAX as the 220-800 *Satire*
Air Canada has announced plans for the roll out of its new A220 this coming year, and has found its opportunity to disguise its inferior 737 MAX through a rebranding.
The 737 MAX will be rebranded as the Airbus 220-800, or the A228 for short. The executive team describes the rebrand as "the big sister of the A220-300"
Bombardier fired back and said "[it's more like] your ugly step-sister who clearly has no relation" and Airbus made no comment as they said they are seeking legal action.
Air Canada responded implying that they have much more in common with the latest information on software issues with the A220. Passengers will be unlikely to keep up with what aircraft is what anyways. The A220 has already stirred up much confusion as it was initially the CS300 built by bombardier.
The MAX is approaching its one year anniversary of grounding and airline's are struggling with how to return this aircraft to service.

But on a serious note what the heck will the airline do to get passengers to fly on this plane and how will they rebrand!

Westjet already doesn't have any max branding on theirs.. I'd be surprised if Joe Public could even tell if they were on one.
