Why do we rely so much on Americans for our sovereignty it's such bullshit.
If we spent some more money on our military maybe we'd have some cool stuff too, made by Canadians.
Instead we are spending 600 million dollars on a gun bill that isn't needed. Nice.

The aircraft cost about 20million a piece, the rest is for crew and support I guess.
Hard to find actual numbers for the program.
The sensor system is a controlled product and currently, no one in Canada is certified to work on it. This doesn't mean that there won't be Canadians working on it eventually.

it's all about the Americans anyway so why not let them have it all and let them operate and own the aircraft and charge them support fees. At least go from spending around 250 mil plus running costs to a several thousand dollar profit per year. Even better do it our selves and use Chinese tech
