In December, the Chinese Communist Party ordered doctors https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/chin ... -rz055qjnj to destroy tests and evidence of the coronavirus.

In December, https://www.nationalreview.com/news/tai ... ssion/amp/" rel="nofollow Taiwan reported person to person transmission to the WHO but was ignored. Since then, the WHO has continued to praise China’s efforts.

Watch how a WHO https://youtu.be/RLvg0KnTKhU?t=1153" representative responds when asked about Taiwan.

In January, https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/20 ... utType=amp the Chinese Communist Party arrested doctors who spoke out about the coronavirus.

In January, WHO tweeted https://twitter.com/who/status/1217043229427761152?s=21 that the Chinese government has found no evidence that the virus can spread form person to person. And this was months after hospitals across Wuhan were inundated with a deluge of patients.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytime ... a.amp.html International health experts from WHO and CDC’s from around the world offered assistance but were denied access to China throughout January.

The Chinese government https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co ... a-51732042 censored coverage of the virus on Chinese social media.

The Chinese government has severely https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/14/busi ... ticleShare cracked down on all media reporting within China and even https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytime ... s.amp.html expelled Western journalists from multiple major news outlets for honestly covering the outbreak in China.

In February, Bloomberg News reported that Chinese state owned oil company, PetroChina, https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... -for-masks directed expats to buy all masks from stores around the world to send back to China.

The Chinese government has since apparently abducted people, https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytime ... g.amp.html including a billionaire, who criticised the Chinese Communist Party and Xi’s response to the outbreak.

The Chinese government has also https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/16/busi ... ticleShare been removing all articles, comments, and documentaries as well as entire news websites that challenge the official government coronavirus narrative.

Now there are https://www.google.com/amp/s/pjmedia.co ... cases/amp/ reports that allege the only reason China’s coronavirus numbers have come down is because they’ve stopped testing and are likely forcibly covering up the fallout in an effort to build a propaganda campaign.

https://twitter.com/lokinhei/status/124 ... 38304?s=21 Japanese reporters have spoken to doctors in Wuhan and are claiming that all testing has stopped.

Just this week, Bloomberg News is reporting that family members in China posted photos online of https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... rus-s-toll stacks of thousands of urns in Wuhan which prompts new questions of the virus’ true death toll

Light at the end of a still long tunnel, light none the less
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2 ... 144508.htm
Summary:
Scientists have announced a potential vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, the new coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic. When tested in mice, the vaccine -- delivered through a fingertip-sized patch -- produces antibodies specific to SARS-CoV-2 at quantities thought to be sufficient for neutralizing the virus
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2 ... 144526.htm
An international team led by University of British Columbia researcher Dr. Josef Penninger has found a trial drug that effectively blocks the cellular door SARS-CoV-2 uses to infect its hosts.

Went to the grocery store today. Ended up in a lineup, in the rain, and a bit of wind, at 3 degrees C. Behind an old gent, 6 feet away. And i also am an old gent.

All of us are only trying to do a simple thing, getting food. And all of us are at a high risk of catching something, perhaps not the coronavirus, but something, in the rain, in the wind, at a cold temperature.

The lineup was about 20 minutes. In a quiet suburb. Imagine the lineup in a busy place.

And then, if you catch something, anything, you are refused entry to get food........

Me thinks that the authorities are in panic mode, and we are going to suffer their consequences. Rationality has departed the building.

So, what is the right course of action then? Are you saying there shouldn't be any measures whatsoever and your shopping experience should be like every other day? The distancing measures have a scientific rationale, and the blanket restrictions have been recommended by experts who are considering the health system limitations. I'm sure you've seen much in your life, but I don't think you were around for the Spanish Flu. Stay safe.

I bet he did. I made the mistake of going to Superstore looking for some yeast. There was no one in the boxes they painted on the sidewalk to line up in for entry but we waited in a line to check out with our eggs. No yeast there though.

What are you talking about? The ICU’s are overflowing and you’re questioning the rationality of all the preventative measures in place to stop the spread of the virus?

That would be...rational.

One question for the critics of social distancing to flatten the curve --- and their are a lot of them out there -- because it's screwing up their flying hours, or investment portfolios.

One of my friends is an ICU nurse.

Who would trade places with her, and decide daily, who lives and who dies, when the beds fill up and ventilators run out?
