Rejoice one and all who have been "GGN'd" at one time or another... I for one am over the moon to see these slimeballs go down.

Thank gooodness! Been waiting a long time for this day!
Re: Air Georgian Bankruptcy
All I see is more reason to not go into this industry
Re: Air Georgian Bankruptcy
What? One of the lowest paying 705 operations is now gone. This is a good thing. All the pilots moving over to Jazz or AC have a much brighter future now. Any pilot, FA, maintenance or dispatcher should have no trouble finding a new (and better) job right now.
As for their management..... doesn’t GGN have a car dealership. Maybe they can get a job washing used Sunfires.

Re: Air Georgian Bankruptcy
Been a rough couple of years on small 705 operators here hasn't it. First Air becoming Canadian North, Pasco becoming a Westjet feeder, R1 and GGN gone, all the EIC companies becoming one, Transat becoming AC, Swoop cannibalizing Westjet flying...becoming more and more of a duopoly, with fewer and fewer career routes to get there.

Only perimeter and bearskin were part of a merger the rest of the EIC companies are separate.co-joe wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 3:28 pm Been a rough couple of years on small 705 operators here hasn't it. Re: Air Georgian Bankruptcy
Pasco only offers a few SAAB 340s to WestJet feeder service, it still has a strong and robust 704/705 airline of it's own brand on the west coast not associated with WestJet or AC for that matter. Still a good career place if you want rural west coast living on either the 1900 or the SAAB.

Re: Air Georgian Bankruptcy
I wonder if Joe got paid for the ads? He could be one of the unsecured creditors.
DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.

I sure hope so. More money for a honest business and less money for the scum.
