Hey guys, now that tax season is upon us I have a few questions that I'm hoping some of you could clear up.
I'm 24 and have been doing my own taxes for the past few years since I've only had T4's and the old T11B's.
I'm still waiting on my T2202 forms with my flight hours and that will be simple enought to punch in but did my CPL and ME flight test's in 2019 and have receipts for both (both examiners did not work for the flight school), CPL on a digital receipt and ME written out on two cheques (due to a partial ). Can I claim these flight test fee's as well? If so, how do I go about entering them on H&R Block/TurboTax? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Tax Season Questions...
I'm not an accountant so take this with a grain of salt.
I believe you can only deduct education amounts for those that you get a T slip for. If your CPL and ME flight examiner didn't issue one (I doubt they do), then you cannot deduct the amount.
