General Aviation Personal Flying

Post by cmtelobo »

Hi everyone,
I need a big help from all fellow aviators (not only from this forum).
I am getting my masters degree and doing a research about general aviation 'Personal flying'. I'd be super grateful if you take 15min of your time to help me out with this.
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FKGKGNN
It might be a bit tiring or difficult for some but please be persistent.
It covers 4 sections
1. Defining segments;
2. Customer needs;
3. Understanding buying process;
4. Your perspective for future
Summary of research:
Personal flying is one of the categories of use of general aviation described by the FAA as all flights other than commercial, business, sightseeing, air medical, instructional, air taxi, air tours, aerial work, external load, etc.
For several years, this category has led general aviation flight activity in North America, however, statistical data has shown a gradual decline over the past 20 years. This survey has the objective of gaining better understanding of the key factors that drive the performance of this flight activity to provide basis of strategy development for plane manufacturers.
