Oh yeah. That must be it. Not the low quality lethargic toxicity that festers in a company that has no real competition.
Fly on some other airlines around the world and maybe see how bad Air Canada actually is. Even Ryan Air and Allegiant are better in so many ways.

I call BS. I have flown on both and many others over the last few years. I would take AC hands down.

Air Georgian 2.0 will come to the rescue!
Air Georgian 1.0 was a disaster also. They did well with the 1900's but once they went RJ it was all down hill. They took all their good 1900 AME's for the RJ and the 1900's went down hill fast.
I miss going to work at AC because the people there are awesome. I have always been impressed with the new hires that come throught to the line and although the selection process isn't perfect and some that should get hired - don't (and vice versa), it seems to generally miss the potholes that linger on AvCanada

Sad times out east.
The 1900D's got old (+20 years & lots of cycles) just like the CRJ 100's (25 years) and some -200's.
There is no 19 seat replacement (new Cessna isn't pressurized) and isn't particularly profitable unless you have a CPA with a larger carrier.

I worked on both. They let their 1900’s slip. A few accidents out west, inability to do maintenance killed them. I did heavy checks on the 1900’s and what I saw would scare the shit out of ya.
