Porter signs removed from check in counters
I was at the airport and all the signs and logos has been removed from their check in counters.
Is this happening in all airports?

That's not a good sign.

DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.

I guess suing the terminal owner might motivate them to remove your signs.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

There are still a whole bunch of Porter signs at YTZ check-in, I just looked. And the building still has a big illuminated Porter sign on it. Your correspondent at the scene here will report if that changes.

Do you have a source for that or is it water cooler talk? It would be a real shame - one of the main attractions of Porter is that they operate out of the island. You can land and be in your car in 20 minutes.
But however - I can confirm. No signs have been removed from YTZ, and there's still a large illuminated sign on the terminal. But I gotta say, YTZ is quite the ghost town right now.
I will dance the sky on laughter-silvered wings.

Where’s “the” airport? Hate when people speak in vagaries.

Me too, but I don't know what a vagarie is. Is that like an ovarie?172_Captain wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 8:50 am Where’s “the” airport? Hate when people speak in vagaries.

plural noun: vagaries
an unexpected and inexplicable change in a situation or in someone's behavior.
"the vagaries of the weather"
Re: Porter signs removed from check in counters
probably vaguenesses would have made more sense. But that's a bit awkward, as a word.

I’d agree. Definitely a word that’s better spoken then written.
