Re: FAA Permits airlines to ban emotional support peacocks.
A passenger tried to pull a stunt like this once at my small airline at the time. When asked for proof, she showed a doctor's note. So our lovely gate agents asked her if it would be ok if we called the doctor to verify, and that faking a doctor's notes is a serious offense.
The animal did not board the flight. The passenger magically healed to be able to make the trip without the pet.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Wow. Personally I have no issue with "emotional support animals".
However, I draw the line at animals that will shit all over the plane.

I will dance the sky on laughter-silvered wings.

Pretty simple for me, animals in the hold or sent as freight. If you want to travel and can't do that maybe you should not have a pet, stay at home with your pet or just do road trips. I like dogs and cats and have had them as companions in the past. They were never considered my brother, sister or a kid. Humanization of animals drives me crazy.
