US Travel Ban

Looks like Biden is doubling down on Trump's travel ban and implementing mandatory quarantines upon arrival in the US. No word on how long or how it will be implemented. No news on whether it applies to flight crew or "essential workers." I'd expect the DHS to announce regulations in the next few days. No word on how it would be enforced since most state law enforcement has no federal enforcement authority (unlike Canada where all cops can enforce a federal law).

Rather than "Travel Ban" might it have been more accurate to title your header "Travel Restrictions"? After reading the WH.gov announcement, it didn't seem as though anything was being banned, only additional requirements and restrictions added to what is already in place.

I didn't read it as a ban but you will now have to get a 'Rona test before traveling there and you have to quarantine for 2 weeks on arrival.

It might as well be a ban. Almost no one is willing to adhere to these increasingly draconian requirements. Testing, masks, quarantines, and vaccines-even with all of these combined, there's no end in sight. Remember when it was "just two weeks to flatten the curve"? It was about hospital capacity. The longer we let it go on, the more they moved the window. All for a common cold.
