Anyone receive a call for the caravan position out of Toronto?

Making 50 in YYZ? People probably did their due diligence and realized they couldn't actually make it work, without living with mom and dad.

The reality is they probably have 500 resumes to weed there way through. Yup the pay isn’t the greatest but I think they’re not worked to hard. Lots of unemployed drivers out there would give body organs for that gig

That’s a whole whopping 10k more a year than McDonald’s is paying down in murica! What will you do with the extra income! Put it towards your 50k of flight training debt?

Second year would be roughly 67 plus per diems, third year about 71, and so on for the term of the collective agreement. That continuous increase combined with the working conditions is why there's seldom any vacancies.

As has been posted elsewhere, you have to add $12k to each of those figures for "retention bonus" under an LOU. So circa $51.9k plus $12k will be starting. Not huge, but, again, it does go up every year. Assumes hired before new contract drops.

Their C208 competitor in YVR which flies the same cargo routes pays $40k. Low pay is relative.
