Hi folks, I’m a student pilot in the US, but am Canadian and was wondering if anyone has transferred their PPL over to the TC version with restrictions?
Mine has the restriction “Not Valid for Flights Requiring the Use of Radio” because I’m partially deaf, and always fly into untowered airports with the exception of prior arrangements.
I can’t seem to find much on the transport Canada side in terms of deaf pilots but the FAA has a section within the first guide to becoming a pilot lol.

Re: FAA PPL to Canada
That's going to be a medical restriction, not a license restriction (most likely). You'll want to liaison with an aviation medical examiner and see what he has to say about it. You might have to wait until Transport Canada reviews your medical certificate.
