Anyone want me to send some pictures to Avcanada of some formation flying we did with a PBY and a DC3 last Saturday at an Airshow here in Holland?

There is some real tight formation and it looks sort of neat.

Send them my way and I would be happy to post them for you. The last set of pictures you sent were great.

JBI....

This is an aviation discussion site??? your kidding, I thought it was set up so I could fix the problems in TC . :D

Avcanada and all the rest, I will get one of the local guys to e-mail some pictures to Avcanada and then we can all look at them.

It will take a few days.

Cat Driver, Seems to me there is a lot of demand for your PBY skills in Holland, why are they so popular there? Also, have you ever flown one of the Russian Catalinas?

Thanks Joe, I will send a bunch more when I get the time.

Dude:

I am giving type ratings to five members of the Dutch Catalina Association and one Dutch CAA inspector, I should be finished by Oct. 01.

Cat they sure did a helluva job on the restoration of that airplane. Two pitot systems and all the control surfaces have been metallized by the looks of it. :)
