Westjet precautionary shutdown
Looks like a job well done to me!

Re: Westjet precautionary shutdown
Am I missing something. The info in the cadors does not make sense to me
The aircraft was 35 miles NW of Hamilton, then 38 minutes later it landed in Winnipeg after shutting the engine down? Am I to assume that if flew what would normally be a 2 hour something minute flight on 2 engines, in 38 minutes on 1?

The "Z" after the 4-digit time stands for "zulu".
Re: Westjet precautionary shutdown
There is a point about 60 miles south of Winnipeg called Humbolt (HML)... it's possible that was listed and someone along the line incorrectly translated it to Hamilton Who knows?

Its at the shell getting an engine swap. You don't get a good read on the size of her until she takes up the whole hangar.
