Electronic Logbook
Can someone please guide me to the best free TC approved electronic logbook?
Would be much appreciated.

Re: Electronic Logbook
Your own. Make your own with Excel, according to what TC requires, and you're good to go.

Ya I can do that. I was just hoping there might be one that would look and work better than one I would make and be only a quick easy download away LOL.
Cheers.

Ah yes, like the one Adam Oke just posted!
Excellent, thanks!

Re: Electronic Logbook
How are you suppost to get the "Certified arrival in...." or the "Time certified correct..." stamps. Obviously you can't stamp an excel worksheet.

Those are not required. It's been beaten to death around here about signatures and certified arrivals.gustind wrote:How are you suppost to get the "Certified arrival in...." or the "Time certified correct..." stamps. Obviously you can't stamp an excel worksheet.

Re: Electronic Logbook
I have never had any of these stamps in my civy logbook and yet, TC granted me all my licenses... AFAIK, all you need is to sign the logbook (yourself) to certify it is correct (just like you regularly do at the end of every page)gustind wrote:How are you suppost to get the "Certified arrival in...." or the "Time certified correct..." stamps. This one is pretty fancy. Pain in the butt transferring. I think it is pay by donation.

I second LogTen Pro, if you're a Mac user. The program is amazing and it pretty much has the best customer support I've ever witnessed.

Re: Electronic Logbook
Having just gotten my first Mac, I have bashed it around a bit and is nice and the reports it generates are great. Do you know if you can import a logbook pro file into it? That is my current logbook.fingersmac wrote:I second LogTen Pro, if you're a Mac user. The program is amazing and it pretty much has the best customer support I've ever witnessed.
Have you used the iphone version? I am also getting one of them. I like to enter my log times as a I go.
But yes LogTen Pro is nice and shiny and so far I think maybe even supporer to LogBook Pro, I am just not sure I want to part with $120 of my hard earned dollars yet.
Logbook pro is what have been using for PC and I do like it works well.

Re: Electronic Logbook
Very nice log book Adam!
Straight forward, easy to use and its a person needs
Re: Electronic Logbook
It is also great that it syncs with the iPhone, then you always have your logbook handy in case you are renting and need to show currency.fingersmac wrote:I second LogTen Pro, if you're a Mac user. The program is amazing and it pretty much has the best customer support I've ever witnessed.
Need an electronic Logbook? GOT ONE!
Okay, so I hope this isn't "spam" because it's free AND useful.
A very good friend of mine... (who also chats here on occasion) has made his own electronic log book and made a website to provide for free to everyone... it's in excel format so it should be easy for everyone to use...
Why is it free? Because he wants to give back to the community... He is a really great guy who just wants to help out. And I know, many of you most likely already know him... He has asked me to post it because for some reason I usually get lotsa reads...
You don't need to sign up for anything, give any info, etc... PM D5GRVTY for more info... he made it after all
Feel free to post any suggestions here as well, he is always open to ideas...
So here it is everyone!

Hi, I'm looking at purchasing an electronic logbook but its a big decision as i'm planning on using it for many years to come. I was just wondering if anyone has used some of them and could recommend a good one.

I use Logten Pro and Mobile (iPhone/iTouch). Fantastic log book program with tons of customizable features. Only available for Mac though.
